Luke Slaboda

Capturing moments that speak.

In the Slaboda family, the question was never if, but how you would express yourself.

Growing up, the rooms of our house were filled with the sounds of James Taylor and Bruce Springsteen, our walls were decorated by Ansel Adams landscapes and photos from my father's adventures, and our floors were grounded by an eclectic collection of vintage furniture. Art was always around me and the people I was with always inspired me.

Although raised in Athens, Georgia, I feel most at home in the midst of mountains, rivers, and trees in the wild West. I search for moments in life that exemplify my love of nature and find joy in images that encompass the vastness of life, yet emphasize its intimate details.

My father and I always enjoyed capturing the moments and places that spoke to us through photography, whether that be in Athens or out West in the rich landscape of Colorado and New Mexico. The memories we have together are priceless and I look to continue the artistic legacy of the Slaboda family through my artistic ventures.
